I have localized the issue to a driver called "I2C HID Device" of version 1. Hi Lenovo community, 2 days ago my touchpad was working. (External mouse works) The most common bugs I have already checked, eg setting: disable touchpad when mouse is enabled, uninstall Lenovo Keyboard Driver (I've read in other posts here, but is not present in my case). If your touchpad drivers aren't working because you've reinstalled the operating system or they are borked, go to the drivers page for the Lenovo laptop and go to the motherboard devices page. All drivers are installed from the Lenovo support page. I have tried almost all answers on askubuntu but I can't get a working solution. 0. I’ve already power drained and installed all the possible drivers with the lenovo vantage app. I searched all over and there seem to be laptop-specific solutions but nothing general. It seems like the touchpad isn't even mounted because there is no driver or settings for it anywhere. When i go to mouse settings, there should be option for the touchpad, but in my case is missing. Tap the surface, it clicks. I have been using Lenovo Yoga 9i for a month or so now. This is extremely annoying and I haven't been able to figure out why this happens.
