Google photos missing years reddit I was devastated. No thanks to Google. Suddenly I'm missing photos from 2012-2015 completely gone from google photos online. They were just gone. As in I suddenly have no photos from that time period. I wonder how many other individual photos from other albums could be missing. All my pictures from August 2020 to now have just completely randomly disappeared off my Google photos and everything. Google Apps was sorry but they could not find them. . Google takeout logs you out after 15 minutes which breaks the connection and your downloaded won't resume. It's driving me crazy and making me super sad since that's 2 years worth of pictures of my daughter, family gatherings, and random outings that are did you ever figure this out? in november i noticed thousands of photos missing!! including the month i was married may 2018, my first sons entire first year 2020, & my second sons birth month & the majority of his first year 2022… these are just the dates that stand out. I know that they used to be in google photos because I was trying to find a video that I have definitely shared to people in the past. i can’t even imagine alllllllll the photos I’m missing! Google pictures App lost the 1st 5 years of my granddaughter’s pictures from my IPhone. This happened to me about a month ago. you only get a week to download them. So it seems that Google Photos is not a secure was to store photos. I even logged into my Google photos account on my mom's laptop and nothing. Thank God, my husband found them backed up on our computer. I used before Picasaweb, and continued when it was converted to Google Photos. I've tried to look on Google drive and Google cloud or whatever and nothing. I have been taking photos from the 90s, first with analog camera and scanning, and then with digital ones, starting on 2000. I have now denied Google access to my photos. 489 2gig files. I downloaded all my photos using Google takeout. Omg it took me 3 weeks of persistent setting alarms so I could check when the few had finished to start the next few. 2 years worth of photos just randomly vanished off my Google photos.
